Program
A five week, 10 class Workshop. Each class running from 3 hours. This workshop will be taught by Ashraf Ashley El Gindy ( Buzz TV) and Sherif Attar (Radio Cairo)with the aim to teach 3 basics styles of television presenting, while mastering the art of Effective Communication.

Objective
By the end of this course you will be able to
*Learn how to present;
1-Out & about reporting.
2-Interviewing
3-Improvisational presenting( like Buzz TV)

*The art of Selling a Presentation.
*Effective Communication Skills.
*How to talk & dress for success.
* Various relaxation techniques.

Outline of Course
WEEK 1
1- A general look at the course plus a list of what the student has to prepare for the following 9 classes
2- Getting to know the teacher and each other.
3- Discussion on what makes a good Presenter and Public Speaker.
4- What are the assets needed and how to gain them .
5- How to relax.

WEEK 2&3
1- Each student will set up a room as though he/she was out reporting. Eg at the Pyramids, or Eiffel Tower or London Bridge. You will be expected to bring small props and make the 3-5 minute link that is entertaining and informative. Again you will be commented on by students and teacher.
2- As with all exercises the teacher will go first and the student will do link more than once.
3- Special attention will be given to starting and ending a link for a presentation.

WEEK 4&5
Sherif El Attar (Radio Cairo) will teach Questioning Techniques, Communication Skills, The Art of Selling a Presentation & Effective Communication.

WEEK 6&7
1- Each student will be coupled with another so as to get to know them. Reason being is that the following week each student will interview the other for 15 minutes.
2- Teacher will give a sample interview and helpful hints for the task.
3- Stress will be given on body language and making the interviewee comfortable.

WEEK 8&9
1- It is now time to improvise. You will be shown how to prepare and then expected to perform a 4-5 minute link.
2- An exercise will be given to help you learn the art or relaxing and improvising.
3- The importance of threading everything together will be stressed upon, so no matter where you stray you will end up rounding everything together. Very important in Public speaking.

WEEK 10
1- Final time. Each student will perform all three taught exercises one after the other . An “out & about “segment will lead directly to an “interview” followed by some creative “improvising”.
2- Students will grade each other on Appearance & Grooming

3- Finally one students will be chosen by his/her class mates to compete against other class winners when there are a total of six. The final competition will air on Egyptian TV for all to see. The rest is up to you.

Methology
This course is designed to aid both newcomers in the Presenting/Communication field as well as sharpen up the skills of the seasoned professional. The classes are Dynamic with Activities, Games, Exercises and Exchanging Experiences.

The course will be taught by:
Ashraf Ashley Elgindy who has been a writer, presenter, producer, director and interviewer for the past ten years. His education is in Communication and Psychology and he presently works for Nile TV and Radio Cairo as well as writing for a few monthly magazines. He has interviewed over 100 major artists while traveling the globe for Orbit Television and has extensive experience in the business world.

Sherif Attar who has been in the field of communication for 30 years. He has written produced and presented many radio shows for such stations as Local European Program,. Middle East Station, Youth Channel and Overseas European Program. He has interviewed many celebrities such as Tina Turner and Frank Sinatra. He has served as media specialist for the press office of the American Embassy. And presently delivers speeches and seminars for key managers of such companies as Xerox, American Express and DHL.

Time and cost of course
The Course will begin on Sunday June 29th. And run every Sunday and Tuesday for the following 5 weeks. It will be held in Mohandeseen, from approx 6-9PM. Only ten people per course will be allowed and each chosen on a first pay basis.
Cost will be L.E 600.00 to be paid before beginning of course.
